Shona McGuinness holds a BSc in Psychology and an MPsychSc in Psychological Science. She completed a PhD in Psychology at University College Dublin. Her PhD research focused on interprofessional support and supervision in Irish disability services.
She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the CP-Life Research Centre on Ignition 2, a project investigating the implementation of a transition programme for young people with childhood-onset physical disability in Ireland.
