RCSI Public Research Partner Excellence Award

Congratulations to Fiona Weldon who was awarded the inaugural RCSI Public Research Partner Excellence Award recognising her contribution to and impact on our research. RCSI PPI Ignite received 23 nominations for the award, which were externally judged. We are so pleased to that the judges recognised the impact that working with Fiona has had on our research.
We have been lucky to work with Fiona over the past 5 years on several projects about adults with an impairment label of cerebral palsy. She has enriched our research and expanded the reach of our findings through sharing her experience and knowledge.
You can read an example of her involvement in our research in this publication, hear her share her views on public involvement in this video, and hear her share findings from a study she contributed to in this video.
