Dr Jennifer Fortune and Dr Manjula Manikandan selected for Evidence Synthesis Ireland ‘Communication with the Public’ Programme
- Congratulations to Dr Jennifer Fortune and Dr Manjula Manikandan who were selected as Evidence Synthesis Ireland Communicating with the Public Mentees. The Evidence Synthesis Ireland ‘Communication with the Public’ Mentorship Programme aims to build capacity in communicating the results of evidence syntheses by writing for the public, through a facilitated mentorship programme.
Jennifer and Manjula will receive team-based virtual writing mentorships over a 6 months period from Dr Claire O’Connell, Science Journalist and Communicator, Sarah Chapman and Selena Ryan-Vig, Knowledge Brokers with Cochrane UK and Hon Prof Derek Stewart, OBE, Patient Advocate.
They will work to communicate findings from two systematic reviews our group published on chronic conditions among adults with cerebral palsy and health services for adults with cerebral palsy
